Working with Topcon Machine Control technologies (both software and hardware) post installation either on site with customer or over the telephone.Run live demonstrations of Topcon equipment for customers and potential customers, working with the Machine Control sales team.Develop and input into training materials, user guides and webinar for use by customers and the sales team.Provide technical advice and feedback to the sales team on the current issues and technical problems.Provide support, advice and guidance to the Support Engineers.Comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.Maintain a good working relationship with other departments.Work within the confines of the General Data Protection Regulations; respecting the rights of Data Subjects and ensuring that personal data is processed and described in the Company’s Data Protection Policy.Assist in other areas of the company's operations (within capabilities) and other duties as requiredPersons specification:A degree in Civil Engineering /Engineering Surveying or similar discipline. Significant experience with a major contractor on large infrastructure projects would be considered desirable .A good understanding of machine control technology and ideally the creation of digital models for earthworks or road construction.Previous significant experience within a technical support role gain in the construction or surveying sector.A strong understanding of analysis, design and development of industrial and/or on-vehicle systems.A demonstrable an understanding of the principles and processes to provide first class customer services.Strong communication skills, enabling clear and accurate delivery of information to customers.Excellent interview personal skills with the ability to mentor and coach others.Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and creative solutions.Good organisation skills, with the ability to manage various deadlines and duties.Full driving licence with regular travel throughout the UK
